Fifteen months after the Scandinavian adventure began, here’s a summary of the time of my life. Listed from January to June, as seen on Facebook.

#1: This place is awesome. Distances from dormitory: to school – 100m, to liquor store – 100m, to gym – 30m, to LIDL – 2m (next door) !!

#2: School is so close from dorm! If you’re drunk, you still get to class crawling on all four.

#3: Note from last night. In a very exclusive club in Stockholm, they sell the shittiest of Czech beers. STAROBRNO. 

#4: Prices of basic resources. Beer at bar = 70 SEK. Beer at liquor store = 15 SEK. Beer at LIDL = 2 SEK.

#5: Zajímavost. Ženská embrya prý již v těle matky pohybují spodní čelistí o 30 procent častěji než embrya mužská.  

#6: I need to decide. Trip to LAPPLAND or Trip to RUSSIA (Helsinki+St.Petersburg). I can’t afford both. Which one would you choose? (wild voting immediately started under this status)

#7: And the winner is … RUSSIA! (My friends have chosen to send me to Siberia! Luckily the time has shown that Lappland will actually be the best choice.)

#8: Happy Chinese New Year! First time in my life, I had chinese dumplings! Thanks girls – Chu, Vivian, Jelene, Ying Ying! … and Chef Bohua!

#9: What kind of team person are you? King? Or scientist? Take a 5 min test and discover yourself  

#10: Last night we went to party. Got drunk. Missed last subway. Got lost in forest. Saw rabbits. Tried to stop cars. Got home and loved it! (what a wild night! I still remember me and Bohua singing this tune in the Swedish forests).

#11: Trying to fall asleep, while watching Superbowl. 100-yard interception run => touchdown for Steelers … incredible!

#11: Back from Globen Arena! Withanother 10.313 people watched the Swedes beating Russia 4:3. Great night! (February 6. Yes, I actually posted no.11 twice. See what the long swedish nights can do to you.)

#12: Really excited to receive a job offer from his favorite company!

#13: Valentýn! Večeře s Finama a Holanďanem, pak švédský pivo s Moldavanem a Čechy. Jo, a výborná plzeň, z plechu. A bavoráky. To je mix (February 14)

#14: Here’s my key. Philosophy. A freak like me. Just needs INFINITY…

#15: I am in desperate need of bread with hagelslag!

#16: What to do first? Assignment for Investments, speech for Business English, cover letter for Procter&Gamble? The winner is .. Solitaire

#17: I am changing plans again. Russia? No. Lappland? Yes! Valencia? Maybe

#18: Friday in Stockholm. Saturday at Turku. Sunday in Helsinki. Life is beautiful … (fantastic trip to Finland, with Veli and Nina being really caring hosts!)

#19: Packing things. Leaving tomorrow morning to Kiruna, Lappland. 250 km above the polar circle. (best week of erasmus has just begun, thanks to marek, fred, misa and ivka!)

#20: Back from Lappland! Driving in Kiruna mines. Cooking Shii-take soup. Ice hotel. Fjords! Illegal entry to Narvik port. Sleeping in car. Fishing! Visiting town “Å”. Stealing a boat for 5 min. Moose on road! Northern lights!!

#21: 7-10 May. Budapest, or Valencia? (another episode of my favorite FB polls!)

#22: Ion just called me from Tiesto concert in Chisinau! Mick just got tickets for Sensation White in Amsterdam. What am I still doing in Stockholm??

#23: Going to Prague for 5 days! Nation2Nation at Exit Chmelnice on Tuesday, who is in?

#24: INNEBANDY ALL-STARS GAME: Team Europe vs. Team World, 8:9 !! Great game, but next time the victory goes to us!

#25: I’m back from Czech Republic. 5 days of sunshine. NO cell phone, NO internet, NO facebook. Feels great! What’s the last time YOU have done this, eh? (also the last happy days with the ex.)

#26: Crazy weekend with two hilarious Dutchmen! Schatje, mag ik je foto! (=dutch beer drinking, chair dancing hit ~ check it out!)

#27: Studying weekend with Corporate Valuation. Trying to be friends with 700-page book.

#28: Tak dlouho se chodi se dzbanem pro vodu… az se z lesa ozyva. (Viktorovo genialni prislovi)

#29: H TO THE IZZ-O, V TO THE IZZ-A! (a reference to Jay-Z)

#30: Back from Valborg. Beer, wine, champagne, and Phil’s vodka. And after this? 15-hour sleep. I feel resurrected! (Swedish tradition of celebrating the last day of April with hardcore drinking has proven to be very popular amongst our group of erasmus students)

#31: Frantisek “Franz” Straka is the new coach of the Czech Football team. Great choice!

#32: Thank you all for birthday wishes!

#33: Believe it, or not. Compound interest is the most powerful force in the universe (posted while playing civilization 4 with veli, viktor and vivian – in the middle of the exam term)

#34: Run around the lake. 15 km in a beautiful sunny weather. 346 days until the Prague Int’l Marathon 2010!

#35: What keeps you running when you’re up all night? Trance! (exam term at its best)

#36: RIV, DDM, DCF, APV, VAV, EVA …. (corporate valuation, night before the final exam)

#37: (June 12) Last day in Stockholm. Hej då, SSE. !
